Renew & Align with God

Romans 12:1-2 is a well-known passage from the Bible, specifically from the book of Romans in the New Testament. It reads as follows:

"1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

This passage is written by the apostle Paul, who is addressing the believers in Rome. He starts by exhorting them to offer their bodies as living sacrifices, which means dedicating their entire lives to God and living in a way that is pleasing to Him. This act of surrender and devotion is described as the true and proper form of worship.

Paul then emphasizes the importance of not conforming to the patterns and values of the world. Instead, he encourages believers to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. This transformation occurs through the work of the Holy Spirit and the study and application of God's Word. By allowing their minds to be shaped by God's truth and wisdom, believers can discern and understand God's will for their lives.

The ultimate purpose of this transformation is to align oneself with God's good, pleasing, and perfect will. It involves living in obedience to God, seeking His guidance, and making choices that are consistent with His character and teachings.

Overall, Romans 12:1-2 calls for a radical commitment to God, a rejection of worldly influences, and a continual renewal of the mind in order to live according to God's will. It is a powerful reminder for believers to live transformed lives that reflect the values and purposes of God.

'You are not the one to decide or conclude. He or she is not called according to your own instincts, but according to the Word of God he or she is called, because Jesus said, 'Go to the whole world and preach the Word. What was the Word? Jesus is the Word of God. He sent out his Word and they were saved and cleansed from their iniquities. Stop blocking others' reign but focus on spreading the genuine Word of God. Preach Jesus. Yours is to preach, pray, give divine utterances and messages. Do your part and let the One who sends us all handle the rest! Preach the Word, let the Word be preached. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life, and the Salvation." Now, let's include the Bible references for each statement: 1. **Called according to the Word of God:**    - 2 Timothy 1:9 - "He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the be...
