Bishop David Oyedepo was anointed by Pastor Enoch Adeboye of RCCG Worldwide

on 17 September 1983, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, ordained David and his wife, Florence Abiola Akano (known as Faith Abiola Oyedepo) to become pastors and officially commissioned the new church.

Bishop David Oyedepo was anointed by Pastor Enoch Adeboye. Today, Bishop Oyedepo has emerged one of the most well-known gospel ministers and he is reputed to be the richest pastor on earth.

A determined goal getter, Bishop Oyedepo is the brain behind some of the most audacious and forward-thinking projects in Nigeria with Covenant University being one of them.
